Directions:
Directions:
1 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 2 eggs: cream together

1 cup nuts, 1 cup dates, 1 t baking soda, 1 cup boiling water, 1 t vanilla, 2 t cinnamon, 1 1/2 cup flour.

first add boiling water to cut up dates and baking soda and allow to cool while mixing the rest of the cake. bake at 350º until done
