2 sticks butter
1-1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. dates, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 c. pecans, chopped
Angel flake coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet; add sugar & dates. Boil 2 minutes. Let cool. In a small bowl, mix the eggs, milk, salt, and vanilla. Take 2 tablespoons from the date mixture and add to the egg mixture; stir. Add back to the rest of date mixture. Boil 3 minutes. Let cool for a few seconds and add Rice Krispies and pecans. Roll into small balls and then roll in coconut.
