4 c sifted cake flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 c soft shortening
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 tsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Mix in flour mixture alternating with the milk. Chill dough thoroughly in the refrigerator.

At baking time, preheat oven to 400º, On lightly floured surface roll about 1/3 of dough at a time and keep the rest refrigerated. After cutting out place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 9 minutes.
