5 slices stale bread
2 tbsp butter
1/2 c raisins
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
3 eggs
3 c milk scalded
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Toast bread spread with butter and arrange in a
10 1/2 X 6 1/2 X 1 3/4 pan. Sprinkle with raisins. Stir salt, and all but 2 tbsp of sugar into eggs, and milk and stir to mix well. Pour over toast and let stand for 10 minutes, press down lightly on the bread with a fork to help absorb.

Sprinkle cinnamon and remaining sugar and bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until brown and delicious!
