6 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp celery salt
2 pints of large select oysters (do not drain)
4 c warmed half and half
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter, Worcestershire, and celery salt in a large saucepan. Cook slowly 5 minutes. Add oysters. Heat gently until the oyster edges begin to curl (do NOT overcook) Add half and half and season with salt and pepper. Pour into bowls and garnish with paprika, chopped chives, or chopped green onions.
