1/2 C.Shortening
2. C. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
Spinach
Salt
Garlic
Olive Oil
Hot Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the shortening, flour, salt, baking powder and enough water to make a dough that is of rolling consistency. Roll out 'free-form' as you would for a pie crust, just don't worry about the shape.

Meanwhile, mix the fresh spinach, salt, chopped garlic, olive oil and hot red pepper (to taste) together. Lay the the spinach mixture atop HALF of the rolled out dough. Fold the dough over the half with the spinach on it and crimp the edge with a fork to seal. Place the 'pie' in the oven at 425º for 10-15 minutes, or until crisp and golden on the outside.
