1 C. Shortening
1 1/2 C. Sugar
6 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Anise Oil
Grated Rind of 1 Orange
5 C. Flour
3/4 tsp. Baking Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Ceam the shortening in an electric mixer. Add the sugar and mix until light and creamy. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the vanilla, anise and orange rind and mix until combined. Gradually add the 5 C flour and baking powder. Mix until combined and chill dough for 2 hours. Form the dough into 1 inch balls and bake in a Pizelle iron until golden.
