40 Caramels
4-6 tbsp. milk
1 c. flour
3/4 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. hot water
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In double boiler, melt caramels and milk. Set aside. In large bowl, mix flour, margarine, salt, sugar, water, adn oatmeal. Put 1/2 dough in 9X13 pan and pack down. Bake 10 minutes at 350º. Remove from oven adn put chips and nuts. Pour caramels over this and put rest of dough on with fingers. Bake 15 minutes at 350º.
