1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. Grated lemon peels
1 tsp. Lemon extract
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Powder ginger
3 c. flower
tsp. Baking powder
tsp. Baking soda
tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend sugar and shortening well at medium speed
2. Add eggs, syrup, poppy seeds, lemon peel, lemon extract and vanilla
3. Beat until fluffy combine 3 cups flour, ginger, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
4. Add gradually at low speed, mix until well blended
5. Divide dough, wrap in long rolls in plastic wrap refrigerate, slice
6. Bake at 350 degrees 5 to 6 minutes or until edges are brown.
