6 medium lemons
2 1/2 cups sugar
5 cups of water

Directions:
Directions:
Squeeze juice from lemons. Juice should measure about 1- 3/4 c.Set aside. In large saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 c. water. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 4 min. Remove from heat. Stir in reserved lemon juice and remaining water. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate until chilled.
