1/4 cup butter
2 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 box sifted powdered sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler (or in a saucepan on very low heat stirring while it melts). Add sugar, milk and salt; beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla.

Use frosting while it is still warm for best results in spreading. It will frost an average cake or 24 cup cakes. Delicious - tastes like fudge.
