1 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. olive or canola oil
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 salmon fillet (1 lb)

1. In small bowl, mix all ingredients except salmon. In shallow glass or plastic dish, place salmon. Pour honey-mustard mixture over salmon. Cover and refrigerate at least 15 minutes to 1 hour or so.

2. Heat coals or gas grill . Remove salmon from marinade; reserve marinade. Place salmon, skin side down on grill. Cover and grill over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes, brushing 2 or 3 times with marinade, until salmon flakes easily with fork. Discard any remaining marinade.

This is FABULOUS!! I make it often. Tom and all the family love it. I always just put the marinade in a ziplock bag and the salmon and move it around to coat it.
You can bake in the oven at 350 degrees for l5 minutes.
When I use the grill (as I do most often) I spray a piece of tinfoil with pam and put the salmon on top of that to cook. Leftover salmon is great cold on a green salad the next day. Yum!!
