3 beaten eggs
1/2 C. Sugar
1 Jigger Whiskey
1 T. Vanilla
1/2 C. Melted Shortening
2 tsp. Baking Powder
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all of the above ingredients and add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Roll dough out, cut into strips, tie in knots and deep fry LIGHTLY. Dust with confectioner's sugar and enjoy!!!

I ALWAYS loved these when Grandma made them, but honestly have never been able to replicate the taste of hers--maybe she used MORE whiskey, or her 'jigger' was bigger!
