"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Preheat your grill to medium hot grill, placing rack about 6 inches above coals. When coals are almost ready in 2 quart saucepan combine brown sugar, apple juice, oil, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

In small bowl combine the dissolved corn starch and add to the concoction in saucepan. Return it to a boil, stirring constantly, when mixture thickens up, take it off the heat.

Grill chops over hot coals about 10 to 12 minutes turning once. Brush with sauce, grill 5 minutes longer until pork is well glazed and cooked through, turning once more and brushing with sauce.
