Ingredients: There's just something about the combination of a good steak and good blue cheese. This is a great way to dress up a steak, particularly if it's the cut sucks.
4 T-bone steaks, about 1 inch thick 1 cup of dry red wine 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled Olive Oil Coarse salt

Directions:Brush the steaks with the olive oil then sprinkle with salt and let them sit on the countertop for 30 minutes. Turn heat up to medium high on your range or grill side burner and simmer the red wine for 30 minutes. Cook the wine until the liquid is reduced by half, then remove from heat. Preheat your grill for high heat. Grill steaks for about 5 minutes per side or until they reach desired doneness. Remove from grill and top with blue cheese and the red wine reduction sauce.
And in case you didn’t figure it out, the wine reduction is the red and the cheese is the white and blue. |

Notes: A good steak is probably the greatest meal in the universe. I mean… what’s better than a perfectly grilled steak, and if you are the one to cook that grilled masterpiece, you’ll have to call security to keep all the ladies off of you. However, a lot of Backyard Grillers screw things up by adding to many spices and grilling the meat too long. Don’t let that happen to you. The star of the show will always be the steak. Don’t take away the spotlight by using overpowering spices. Relax, it’s only steak… It is not like it costs about 20 dollars a pound…. Oh wait.
