10 T. sugar, 1 t. dry mustard, 1 t. salt, 6 T. vinegar, 1/2 c. onion, 1 c. oil ( I use canola)
4 t. poppy seeds

Blend all but poppy seeds. Mix in poppy seeds after blending.

I use this dressing on fresh spinach salad, fruits,
(avacados, grapefruit and orange slices mixed together), etc.
