4 c. Bisquick
enough milk to make firm dough
1 qt. applesauce
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Bisquick & milk to make firm dough, divide in 3 parts. Mix applesauce, sugar and nutmeg. Set aside.Roll dough out very thin, cut crust with pot lid.Put 1 lg. tbsp. of apples in middle of cut crust, fold over, press with thumb firmly around edges. Have Crisco hot in electric skillet, lay pies in
slowly,cook on medium heat till brown,then turn with pancake turner.Lay on cookie sheet to cool, sprinkle white sugar on hot pies.
