2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, water and syrup in saucepan. Stir while it dissolves over the fire, then let it boil without stirring to the light crack stage (265) or when it makes a hard ball in water. While this cooks, beat egg whites stiffly. When syrup is ready, pour into egg whites and beat constantly. Beat till creamy - add nuts and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon on buttered dish.
