Cake:
1/2 c. margarine
1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. shredded apples

Frosting:
1/3 c. margarine
3/4 tsp. vanilla
2 T. milk
3 c. powdered sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine & sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, combined dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Fold in apples. Pour into greased & floured 13x9 pan. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes. Cool. & frost, sprinkle with nuts, if desired.

Frosting:
Cream margarine, blend in vanilla. Add sugar alternately with milk beating until light and fluffy.
