1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light Karo syrup
1 cup raw peanuts
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar and syrup to a boil. Add nuts and continue to cook until nucts crackle or syrup is light tan. This may take several minutes. Remove from heat and add the baking soda stirring briskly until the mixture is dark brown. Pour on a large buttered cookie sheet. Break into pieces when cool.
