To further enforce my rein of culinary dominance in the realm of Cherry Grilling, I proudly give you yet another diamond for your treasure chest of recipes.

Run to the freezer section of your local grocer and pick up a frozen pound cake.
While you’re at it, pick up some whipped topping also. And if you think of it, remember to pick up the cherries too, and I could also use some Preparation H…. Sorry about that.

Pound cake, whipped topping and the same grilled cherry info, that I shared with you in the previous recipe, is all your gonna need for this one.

I want you to cut the, slightly thawed, pound cake into ¾ to 1 inch slices.
Grill the sliced cake on the grill over medium high heat. After about 4 minutes, flip, and toast, the backside of the cake. We are only trying to warm the cake up and toast the outside a bit; we don’t want to grill it into an unrecognizable piece of char. So feel free to flip as you see appropriate.

Layer up the pound cake, the whipped topping and the cherries and prepare to see Jesus.
