1 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and add 2 teaspoons water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour and nuts. Chill for 4 hours. Shape into small 1 inch calls and flatten slightly and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool slightly. Roll in confectioners sugar. Recipe makes about 3 dozen cookies.
