Shrimp in Cream Sauce Recipe

36 shrimp, cooked, peeled
1 - 1½ onion, diced
¼ cup Chardonnay wine
8 - 10 Roma tomatoes, peeled and diced; remove seeds
1/2 - 1 package mushrooms, sliced
6 basil leaves, torn
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, more for hotter
½ pint whipping cream
1 tablespoon Italian parsley, chopped
½ - 1 cup chicken broth
1 package angel hair pasta

Sauté shrimp in olive oil. Remove shrimp and set aside. Sauté onions in same skillet until transparent. Add wine and reduce. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, basil and pepper flakes. Add cream, chicken broth and parsley. Cook angel hair pasta in salted water. Drain. Spoon some of cream sauce or more chicken broth over cooked pasta. Place remaining sauce in bowl; serve.
