1 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup unsifted all purpose flour
pinch cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, combine butter and cheese with fork. Blend in flour and pepper by hand. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls and place on a buttered cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.

Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Cool on rack. Makes approximately 12 wafers.
