1 cup butter
2-ounces unsweetened chocolate squares
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons peppermint flavoring
1 cup plain flour
1 cup nuts, chopped

1/4 cup butter
3 cups confectioners sugar
3 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon peppermint flavoring

1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1 tablespoon butter

Place butter and chocolate squares in saucepan and melt. Cool. Beat eggs and add sugar. Combine with chocolate mixture. Add peppermint flavoring. Stir flour into above mixture. Add nuts. Spread in greased jellyroll pan. Bake 350 for 25 minutes. Cool.

Cream butter and sugar. Add milk and peppermint. Spread over cooled bars.

Melt and spread on top. Swirl lengthwise to stripe. Use toothpick to mark across.
