2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. butter softened
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick-cooking rolled oats

Filling:
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl cream together brown sugar, and 1 c. butter until fluffy. Add eggs, and 2 tsp. vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, soda and 1 tsp. salt; stir in oats. Stir into creamed mixture until blended. Set aside.
In heavy saucepan heat together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, 2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 tsp. salt over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in nuts and 2 tsp. vanilla.
Pat 2/3 of the oat mixture in bottom of ungreased 15 1/2" X 10 1/2" X 1" baking pan. Spread chocolate mixture over oat layer; dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350º F for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.
