6 eggs
4 c.milk
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
6 slices of stale bread

Directions:
Directions:
Butter bread, spread with brown sugar and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Beat eggs, white sugar and salt - add milk and vanilla
Pour into 9 x 13 pan
Turn each slice of bread, sugar side down, floating on top of custard
Bake at 350 until knife inserted in center comes out clean ~ approx 1 hour
