5 c. flour
4 sticks margarine
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Form into small balls, about walnut size. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with colored sugar. This may be made by putting 1 c. sugar in a jar with a few drops of red food coloring and shaking it until evenly covered. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
