4 c. Water
5 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Allspice
6 c. Vinegar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/3 tsp. Cloves
8 pt. Beets (approx.)

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer all ingredients for 15 minutes. Add beets. Boil 5 minutes more and add a few pickling spices.
