2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 T. salt
1 T. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. (or more) of HOT water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients. Press in shortening until crumbly. Make a clear circle in center of bowl and pour hot water into the hole. Gradually stir in flour with water (can use your hand). Dough will start to form a ball. Once formed let dough sit under a bowl for 10-15 min. Douch should be softened. At this point shape dough into small balls. Place bowl over the ones not being used so they don't dry out. Roll each ball out onto flour surface. Cook on hot griddle about med. to med. high temp. Cook each side just until brown spots begin to show. You don't need to grease your griddle.
