3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
2 tsp baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Melt Crisco in microwave and bring to room temperature. Add sugar, molasses, and egg. Beat well. Combine flour, soda, spices and salt. Add to first mixture. Mix well and chill. Form into small balls and roll in white sugar. Do not flatten. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes.
