2 c Shortening, Melted
2 c Brown Sugar
1 c White Sugar
4 Eggs
1 t Vanilla
4 c Flour
2 t Soda
1 t Salt
2 c Oatmeal
1 1/2 c Raisins, Boiled & Drained

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together melted shortening, brown & white sugars. add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix in flour, soda and salt. Then stir in oats and raisins.

Place by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for abut 10 minutes.

May add chopped nuts and may substitute chocolate chips in place of raisins.
