4 Rome Beauty apples
1 can Diet Black Cherry Soda or Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper
San Sucre Cinnamon Sugar Substitute (or cinnamon and Splenda)

Directions:
Directions:
Core apples. Place in casserole dish. Pour entire can of soda over apples. Sprinkle cinnamon and Splenda over apples. Bake at 375 F. for about 40 minutes (or until apples are tender). Serve warm, hot, or cold, alone or with lowfat cottage cheese or lowfat ice cream or frozen yogurt.
Note: Can also be done in a crockpot. Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
