1 lb. hamburger
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 egg, beaten
small onion, chopped
salt and pepper

Sauce:
3 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. ketchup
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. prepared mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sauce ingredients together and set aside. Mix hamburger, onion, Rice Krispies, egg, half of the sauce mixture, and salt and pepper to taste. Shape hamburger mixture into golf size balls and put in a 9 x 13" cake pan or roasting pan. Cover the meatballs with the remaining sauce. Bake uncovered at 350 F. for 40 minutes or 375 F for 30 minutes.

When having a special dinner, I often double the recipe. I mix them up, put them in the pan, cover and freeze them raw. Let thaw in refrigerator overnight, uncover and bake according to directions.
