1 T flour
4 T butter, melted
1/2 t nutmeg
3/4 c orange juice
1 c sugar
3 medium, very tart apples, finely chopped
2 uncooked pastry shells

Directions:
Directions:
Stir the flour into melted butter. Add nutmeg, orange juice, and sugar, and mix. Place chopped apples in unbaked pastry shell and pour mixture over them. Put strips of pastry over top.

Bake 15 minutes at 450º, then reduce to 300º and bake until done, usually 25 to 30 minutes.
