4 baked potatos, peeled and mashed into smaller pieces with a fork;
2/3 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup flour
6 cups milk
1 cup sour cream
salt & pepper to taste
Shredded cheese, bacon bits, and chives added on top

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large boiler, add flour, add milk slower over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
Add potatos, salt and pepper to taste. Add sour cream to thicken.

Precook bacon and chop up. Prebake the 4 potatos for 1 hour on 400 degrees.
When you serve the soup, add bacon bits, shredded cheese, and chives to the top.
