2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cream of tarter
2 tsp. sugar
½ c. shortening(or butter)
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add milk just until all moistened. On floured surface knead just enough to form in ball. Pat out ¾” to 1” thick. Approximately 6-7 biscuits. (Ok, I only knead a little in the bowl and then go straight to the patting out, less mess!) Bake @425 for 10-12 min. Cutting these biscuits with a knife is PROHIBITED!!!
