1 head lettuce
1 c diced celery
4 chopped hard-cooked eggs
1 10oz pkg frozen peas
1 c diced green pepper
1/2 c thin sliced green onions
8 slices of bacon, fried crisp and drained well
2 c mayonaise
2 Tbsp sugar
4 oz grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Tear lettuce into small pieces and place in the bottom of a 9 X 13 glass dish.

Layer celery, eggs, peas, pepper, onion and bacon in order over the lettuce.

Combine Mayonaise and sugar. Spread mixture over the top of salad like cake frosting, sealing the edges. Top with cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
