1 pint water 1 tbsp. whole cloves 1/2 stick cinnamon 1 gallon apple cider 2 packages red hots 1 large sliced lemon pinch of salt
In cloth bag, combine cloves and cinnamon. Combine all other ingredients in large pot on top of the stove and add the bag. Bring slowly to boil, stirring continuosly until all red hots are melted. The cider will turn a deep red color.
