1 qt. water
1 qt. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt for each qt. jar
Peppers

Directions:
Directions:
Put salt in each quart jar. Heat water and vinegar to boiling. Slit hot peppers (make one long cut down long side of pepper to release flavors). Pack peppers in jars. Pour hot vinegar liquid over peppers. Seal jars securely. Process for 10 minutes in hot water bath. Let stand at room temperature at least 1 week. Turn jars occasionally to distribute flavorings.
