2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/2 cup Crisco
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar and cocoa in large bowl.
Add 1 cup water and mix. Put margarine and Crisco in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Pour over flour mixture and mix well. Add eggs, soda, vanilla and buttermilk. Mix well. Pour in a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean..

ICING
1 stick margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk
1 box confections sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts

Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add other ingredients and mix well. Spread on cake immediately after removing from the oven.
