4 med to large potatoes, diced 1 large onion, chopped 1/2 atick butter milk salt pepper finely, shredded cheddar cheese Chopped green onions, optional Bacon crumbs
Cook potaotes and and onions in water just covering the raw potaotes until potatoes are tender. Add margarine. Salt and pepper to taste. Add milk until it changes the color of the liquid around the potatoes. Serve in bowl and cover with cheese and bacon crumbs. Add green onions to top if desired.
