Dressing:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
dash pepper
1-2 dashes red pepper sauce
2 T. sugar
2 T. vinegar
2 T. chopped parsley

Topping:
1/2 c. almonds
4 tsp. sugar

Salad:
1/4 head iceberg lettuce
1/4 bunch romaine lettuce
1 c. celery, chopped
2 green onions, chopped w/ tops
1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Shake dressing ingredients together and refrigerate.

Topping: Cook almonds and 4 tsp. sugar over slow heat until sugar melts. Stir constantly until coated and light brown. When almonds cool, break into pieces.

Mix salad ingredients; just before serving toss with dressing and almonds.
