1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening or oil
1` tsp. salt
3 1/2 cup flour
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in water. Combine milk, sugar shortening and salt. Add 1 1/2 cup flour. Beat. Add yeast and egg. Add rest of flour. Knead on #3 for 5 minutes. Roll and cut. Raise till double. Bake 375 for 20-25 minutes. Frost. makes 1 1/2 9-13 pans.
