2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together in medium sized bowl. Add buttermilk a little at a time and mix by hand until it thickens slightly. Heat greased skillet to medium heat and pour in a small amount of batter. Batter will begin to set and form bubbles. Watch closely and turn pancake when underside is golden brown. Let cook a few minutes on the other side until golden. Test middle for doneness using spatula or tooth pick. Butter and syrup as you choose.
