1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 T. onion
1 to 2 T. mayonnaise
1 loaf cocktail rye bread
6 strips bacon, fried and crumbled (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cheese, onion, mayonnaise, and bacon together. Spread on small rye breads and place under the broiler until the cheese melts.
