1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup sour milk
2 eggs - beaten
1 teaspoon baking soda added to
1 cup mashed bananas
sour milk
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake in a 9x5 loaf pan at 350 for 40 minutes or until done in the center when poked with a toothpick.
