2 12-ounce bags cranberries (6 cups)
2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled & cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Zest from 1 orange (finely grated orange peel - just the orange part)
1/4 c. orange juice (squeezed from orange)
2 c. sugar
2 T. brandy

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
In a 4-quart, ovenproof dish, combine the cranberries, apples, orange juice, and zest from the orange, sugar and brandy, and toss to combine well. Cover with foil and bake until the fruit is soft, about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and stir. Serve hot, room temperature, or chilled with Thanksgiving and/or Christmas turkey or ham instead of the jelled-type cranberry sauce.
