3/4 c Shortening, Creamed
1 1/2 c Sugar
1 t Salt
1 t Cinnamon
2 Eggs
1 t Vanilla
1 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Baking Powder
2 1/2 c Flour
2 c Oatmeal
1 c Raisins
1/2 c Nuts, Optional
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all except the raisins and nuts. Simmer raisins in 1 cup boiling water for 15 minutes, drain and add to above ingredients. Add
nuts if desired. Drop by teaspoons and bake at 375° for about 10 minutes.
