8 oz. cream cheese - to room temp.
1 c. butter - softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
2 1/4 c flour (separated)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped marachino cherries
1/2 c. chopped pecans

1 1/2 c. sifted powder sugar
2 Tbs. milk or 1 T cherry juice

Mix cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time.
Mix together baking powder and two cups of flour and add gradually.
Mix cherries with 1/4 c. flour and add to mixture mixture along with pecans.
Pour into greased and floured bundt pan.
Bake 1 hour 25 minutes at 325
Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan.
Optional: Top with glaze. Mix together powdered sugar and milk or juice.
